Where is Uptown Yvette based?
Uptown Yvette is Canadian and based in the Greater Toronto Area of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. All items are proudly handmade in Canada and shipped out of Canada.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, Uptown Yvette ships worldwide.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs vary depending upon the destination. Shipping costs are kept as low as possible and are reasonably priced. Excellent combined shipping costs are available as you add items to your cart.
Shipping costs can be easily viewed by clicking on the orange "My Shop" links, then clicking on a product of interest, select the destination and view the shipping cost. Another way to view shipping costs is to click on one of the product photos on the shop page and once inside, simply placing the item(s) in your cart.
How and when do you ship?
Ensure that your PayPal / Etsy address is current and complete. Orders will be shipped out via Canada Post within 1-2 business days. Packages must go through two postal systems as well as customs and will therefore, require extra delivery time. I cannot guarantee delivery dates, but most packages will arrive in approximately 1-3 weeks.
International buyers are responsible for any duties, VAT or custom fees if applicable.
What is your return policy?
I want you to be happy with your purchase! If there is a problem, please contact me immediately so that we can work together in resolving the issue.
Refunds are available within 14 days of delivery once I receive the item back in its original condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable in the majority of cases. Ship items back within 30 days of delivery. Please contact me before returning an item.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept PayPal payments as well as Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Etsy Gift Cards through Etsy's Direct Checkout.
*You don't need a PayPal account to purchase through PayPal. PayPal is simply a means of processing your payment. You can use a credit card or debit card to make purchases through PayPal.
Is the payment site secure?
Yes, the payment site is very secure. My Uptown Yvette shop is located on Etsy which is one of the largest, if not the largest, website in the world for handmade items.
How are the products packaged?
Products are attached to a card and packaged in a resealable clear protective sleeve. When shipping, the majority of beaded and charm accessories are placed in a bubble mailer. Some items are placed in a jewelry box due to their more fragile nature.
Do you offer gift wrapping and/or gift messages?
Yes, I do! Items are wrapped individually in tissue paper and ribbon free of charge. With just a $1.00 upgrade, wrapping paper, ribbon and a gift tag will be used. Gift messages are available free of charge. You can choose to have either one or both, with options made available during the checkout process.
How do I care for the products?
Cabochon accessories (glass dome with art image) are water resistant but not waterproof. Do not immerse in water. As for the tea infusers, gently hand wash the mesh ball and air dry or pat dry.
Do you participate in craft fairs?
I will no longer will be participating in craft fairs for the foreseeable future. You can follow me on Facebook for updates on any events such as sales and discounts.
Do you take custom orders?
That depends upon whether the material to work with is available (supplies, colours etc...). If I can make it, then I will do so. If not, then it might be something that I could keep in mind for future consideration.
